Facebook Ads Iconography

Facebook Ads Iconography

The goal of this project was to create a scalable, long-term iconography set that could be used to represent a massive variety of messaging types that the Facebook Ads team sends out to advertisers. As one of the projects I worked on during my internship, I sought out existing symbols and use cases of these ideas and constructed a two-type set of icons that could be combined to be used in almost any situation. The color scheme followed is an accessibility-first spectrum used throughout the Facebook Ads product.

The final set of icons, the larger type being generalized concepts of things like "clicks", "payment", "milestone", or "post", and the smaller type consisting of more nuanced concepts like "edit", "hot", "error", and "approved". These could be combined to make concepts like "Ad Approved" or "Edit Video", or used individually.
